HOT NEWS!

The Hennessey Hoe-down, our traditional summer picnic, in Holyoke is Back!  And the public is invited to attend. The event will be held at Hamel’s Summit View Pavilion, 555 Northampton St., Holyoke, Sunday August 28, 2022, 1 to 4 p.m. rain or shine. Entertainment will be provided by the Jim O’ Connor and the Boston Blackthorn Band. The picnic is presented by the Hibernians of Hampden/Hampshire Counties to benefit The Maurice A. Donahue Memorial Scholarship. Tickets are $20.00 per person for adults and children ages 11 and up;  children ages 6-10, $10.00. There will be Irish and American music, dancing, hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ chicken, baked beans, dessert, coffee, cash bar, raffle, and children’s games with prizes.  See flyer.

LAOH has announced the winner of the 2022 Irish-theme Quilt raffle - Mary Anne Flaherty of West Springfield.  The lucky ticket was pulled at the May 2nd AOH/LAOH meeting by the AOH Man-of-the-Year Matt O'Connor.  Congrats to Mary Anne!

AOH and LAOH meetings have resumed on the first Monday of the month 6:00 p.m. for the LAOH and 7:00 p.m. for the men.  Hope to see you there.
