LAOH Irish History contest topic for 2026-27 has been announced for students in grades 6-12. The theme: " Beyond St. Patrick, St. Brigid, and St. Columcille, which other Irish Saints helped shape and sustain Ireland’s Catholic identity?” Attached is the Contest Poster, the Letter to Parents/Teachers, and the Student Guidelines for 2026-27. The Annual Hibernian Summer Picnic will be held on Sunday August 30th, 1-5pm rain or shine, at Hamels Summit View Pavilion, Route 5 Holyoke. Hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, corn on the cob. Kids-meal available. Face painting, balloons, dancing, and of course raffles. $30 per person for adults and children 16 and over; $15 tickets for those 10-15 years old. Except for Monday holidays: AOH and LAOH meetings are the first Monday of the month 6:00 p.m. for the LAOH and 7:00 p.m. for the men. There are no meetings in July and August.
