FEBRUARY:  please plan to attend the mass in honor of the patron saint of LAOH, St Brigid, on Sunday February 5th at 8am, St Jerome's Church, Holyoke.  St Brigid would love to see you all there!  Gents are encouraged to attend as well.

FOOD DRIVE!  Thanks to everyone who contributed to our food drive during December.  Your contributions were much appreciated!  As you remember, there was a raffle for donors ->>

Congratulations goes out to Kit Collamore of Holyoke who won a Christmas basket from The Polish National Credit Union Holyoke Branch for donating canned goods for the needy at Kate’s Kitchen. The food drive was conducted by the Hibernians of Hamden/Hampshire Counties and The Polish National Credit Union.  Thanks to all who supported the food drive for Kate’s Kitchen.  Congratulations again to Kit Collamore.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the supporters of the Hibernians and Kate’s Kitchen.

Except for Monday holidays:  AOH and LAOH meetings have resumed on the first Monday of the month 6:00 p.m. for the LAOH (please note time change to 6pm) and 7:00 p.m. for the men.  Hope to see you there.

Congrats to the 2023 AOH Man of the Year Jay Whelihan and LAOH Woman of the Year Mary Kate O'Connor.  Also announced was the Christian Charity Award winner Brenda Lamagdeline.  Woman/Man of the Year awards to be presented at Irish Night, February 25th at the Log Cabin.  See press release from the Springfield Republican.

Thanks to all who attended the Hennessey Hoe-down, our traditional summer picnic, on Sunday August 28, 2022.  It was fantastic!   The proceeds benefited the Maurice A. Donahue Memorial Scholarship.

LAOH has announced the winner of the 2022 Irish-theme Quilt raffle - Mary Anne Flaherty of West Springfield.  The lucky ticket was pulled at the May 2nd AOH/LAOH meeting by the AOH Man-of-the-Year Matt O'Connor.  Congrats to Mary Anne!
